  4. 3rd Thursday of every Month

    Friends of Marty Robbins (FOMR)
Live Music - Jam Session- Open Mike

    TIME: 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
    LOCATION: Ironworks Restaurant
    17233 N. 45th Ave.
    Glendale, AZ 85308
    602-843-0909
Ironworks is located slightly N. of W. Bell Rd., E. side of 45th Ave.

Our audiences are a mix of musicians and listeners alike. To use the old cliche', "Pickers & Grinners".

The entire evening is FREE with the exception of whatever meal and beverage you might order. Ironworks has reasonable food prices and a very attractive menu to choose from. As a bonus, our meeting room has very large windows with access to a nice outdoor patio overlooking a beautiful lake surrounded by an eye-appealing greenbelt. There's no cover-charge for anyone. Our banquet size room includes a restroom, a beverage bar, and our own private entrance south of the main restaurant entrance. The evening's dress and agenda is very informal, we’re all about having fun. Dinner ordering begins as early as 5:30 p. m. with live music following shortly afterwards. Entertainment is provided by a mix of diverse music talent from highly respected seasoned performers to aspiring musicians who come to hone their skills in a live setting. Everyone is welcome.

Backup band duties are performed by Denny Sarver, 3 Wheel Drive fame (Upright Bass) along with Gene Burkhart, (Lead Guitar) Dave Beaty, (Pedal Steel Guitar) Bob Glidden, (Dobro) and Les Taylor, (Rhythm Guitar). Many of the Marty Robbins Tribute singers will be performing along with a host of great open-mike performers who always compliment our monthly Ironworks gatherings. As always, the evening's focus is to honor Marty's memory and have a good time. We look forward to having you visit us.

Please call me if you have questions, etc., (602) 677-2834

    Very best regards,

    John Edmonson Sr.
