Bluegrass, country, folk, gospel and blues. We are beginner friendly. We practice jam etiquette (1 song per person, you can pass to the next if you want, and we smile at booboos & we clap for superstars!). We are usually about 30 strong (jammers) so far in the summer -- we have loads of room here in the Cafeteria (Room #1) at Scottsdale Sr Ctr on Granite Reef Rd. At this time, we usually have guitars, slide guitars, mandolins, fiddles, upright basses, ukes, harmonicas, flutes, & even an accordion! I'm sure I left out some instrument...we may have dulcimers and autoharps in the future. It's a nice crowd in a non-smoking, non-drinking environment -- real family fun! Please join us! We do have a mic for the singer/leader and we do quiet down for the less noisy instruments during their time to "lead". Debi Duvall, David Bernstein, and Priscilla Harp are the organizers. Any of them can be reached by emailing at: debiduvall@cox.net If you'd like to be on our email list, please email here. Again, thanks.
