  1. Value of Music

A guy calls the local musicians guild for a quote on a 6-piece band for a wedding. The rep says, ‘Off the top of my head, you’re looking at about $2000.’

The guy says, WHAT?!?!?! For MUSIC?!?!?!?!?

The rep says, ‘Tell you what, you call the plumber’s union, and ask them for a price for 6 plumbers to work from 6pm until midnight on a Saturday. Whatever they charge, we’ll work for half.

  2. Sorry if I'm doing this wrong. First and third Friday every month 1:15 to 3:15 at the Foothills Public Library Nicky Nicastro and Uncle Dave Lawrence host a jam. New rules. Any instrument including electrics permitted as long as volume is not to excess. Any style music is encouraged although bluegrass tends to predominate. Library is located between Union Hills and Utopia to the North on 57th Ave. both just South of the 101 loop. Exit the freeway at 59th and go south to Utopia, left to 57th, the library is visible to the south (right and then left).
